With all the BBQ's going on and summer parties i love to make Ina Garten's Strawberry Country Cake recipe. It is a party pleaser for sure.
I think my favorite part of making this cake has to be the whipped cream frosting I use Watkins vanilla and raw sugar to give it just the right sweetness to this light cake. This goes well with a chilled glass of lemonade or a dessert wine. I'm making this for a bunco party I'm going to tonight. If you make this cake i know you won't be disappointed with the results. Elegance at it's best with out all the hard work.
